Tom Clancy’s XDefiant – New shooter – Open Beta
Do you like playing shooting games?
We have a new proposal for you from Ubisoft! It is Tom Clancy’s XDefiant. You can play the open beta right now. Test the game before the premiere and see if you like it!
The game resembles Call Of Duty MW 2 or Valorant. Rate it yourself and let us know in the comments!
What is Tom Clancy’s XDefiant?
In this game, you play as the selected character and fight in the 6 vs 6 formula in the arena. Ubisoft’s production focuses on dynamic gameplay with a large portion of customization options for individual aspects of combat on prepared maps. On each character you will be able to personalize your “ULT” skills, abilities, traits and weapons! Play and develop your character to make it indestructible! The competition will take place on arenas – closed maps prepared by XDefiant. The modes will allow you to compete and take over a given area. Get ready for a fierce fight because every opponent came here to win just like you!
When will the release date be?
We are not sure yet… If we receive new information, we will tell you a bit more about this game. For now, we are alone in beta testing, which we cordially invite you to. One thing is for sure, this game will be free-to-play. Also, you don’t have to put down your money to buy this title. You will be able to play this game for free!
Will there be microtransactions? We think so. We’re hoping it’s just payments in the form of gun skins, not the weapons themselves to make someone an indestructible competitor. We hope that the developers will create something like a community market like in CS:GO. There is no such thing in valorant and I admit that I and my colleagues from the editorial office miss this solution. Why? Because the appearance of the weapons that we buy in the store stays with us forever and we can’t exchange them or sell them to other players … It is then a non-returnable investment, which sometimes discourages players from buying skins.
Will Tom Clancy’s XDefiant be cross-platform?
This game will be published on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Ubisoft Connect, Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. So it’s a very wide range, so we think this gameplay will be mixed. Both PC players will be able to play with PS5 players and so on. Will our idea work? We’ll find out soon enough.
